The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the execution of overall fabrication and project activities in collaboration with pertinent stakeholders.
Job Description:
Develops project plans by reviewing project specifications and work in collaboration with the Works Manager, Project Manager, Technical Advisors, and related key personnel.
Determines project schedule by analyzing project plan, calculating time requirements, manpower arrangement & sequencing project elements.
Understand design drawings and raise material requisition or utilize balance stock for raw materials such as steel products.
Ensure on-time project completion by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
Communicate with sales and customers regarding updates and inquiries regarding each project, as well as to resolve and follow up on any customer complaints.
Arrange and involve in the testing and inspection of final products if a third party is involved.
Visit and monitor suppliers’/contractors’ progress and exercise quality control on their work.
Review the mill certificate before purchase and ensure the material complies with third-party and client requirements.
Make arrangements with clients and third parties (ABS, LR, DNV, etc) for any inspection point according to project ITP (Inspection and Testing Plan).
Make arrangements with clients and third parties for FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and prepare FAT procedures.
Liaise with QA/QC department on all quality issues.
Ensure the department’s activities are compliant with ISO 9001: 2015 procedures.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities for growth.
Candidates proficient in Mandarin language are preferred, as this will facilitate communication with native Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders.

Position Summary:
-As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Company’s business growth by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospects.
-You will combine your technical expertise with strong sales skills to understand customer needs, prepare cost estimations, and deliver technical presentations explaining products, equipment, and services to prospects.
Responsibilities:
-Establish close relationships with existing customers and potential customers.
-Effectively plan, prepare, and conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and solution proposals that move the customer toward the purchase.
-Respond promptly to all customer inquiries while providing a solution for each inquiry efficiently.
-Achieve a minimum order intake per month to ensure sales top line and gross profit targets are met.
-Study blueprints, plans, and other customer requirements and work closely with engineers and the technical department to formulate cost estimations.
-Undertake effective market and information analysis of situations, data, etc. to identify market trends and effective competitor identification.
-Prepares sales engineering reports by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing sales information for weekly submission.
-Prepares collection report for all overdue payments for submission to superior.
Responsibilities:
To perform dismantling, assembly & testing on mechanical products based on drawing.
Involve in modification and trading job like pump pre-setting, valve modification etc.
Responsible and practice safe working habits and safe use of equipment, tools and machineries that are related to the assigned job.
Report of any malfunction or lost tools to the superior promptly.
Work in accordance and comply with the requirements outlined in department’s ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
Able to travel outstation as and when required by the superior.
Skills & Experience:
Possess good analytical skills & strong knowledge of technical aspects.
Preferably with 1 year of hands-on production operations/planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment.
Good attitude and committed to work.
